The "Ice Age" in the Peißenberg ice stadium has begun: The series of test matches will start on Sunday, August 29th, with a duel between neighbors.

Peißenberg / Forst - The times when the ice hockey departments of SC Forst and TSV Peißenberg existed side by side without any major points of contact and each went their own way are long gone. Most recently, the cooperation was "greatly expanded, since both clubs are convinced that they can better achieve some important goals together," said SC spokesman Werner Schilcher. For example, U20 players with a sponsorship license should collect game practice in the senior sector at SC Forst. Recently, helpers from the "Nature Boyz" and the "Miners" were in action together to make ice in the Peißenberg stadium. Both teams have already completed their first training sessions on the ice - on Sunday, August 29th, 5:30 p.m., the series of test matches will begin in a direct duel between the regional division Forst and the Bavarian division Peißenberg.

The game is officially hosted by the "Nature Boyz". Both board teams have agreed for the game: Entry to this game costs 7 euros (people over 14 years of age). Season tickets are not valid for the game. After deducting the costs incurred, the proceeds will be shared “and serve as the financial starting signal for the new season,” says Schilcher. The next generation of ice hockey at TSV Peißenberg will also receive a donation; after all, the majority of the players on both teams come from the TSV youth team.

Due to the corona pandemic, however, various requirements apply in the stadium: A maximum of 500 spectators are admitted, an FFP2 mask is mandatory.

In addition, the 3-G rule applies;

Vaccinated and convalescent persons must submit appropriate evidence; a negative test is mandatory for unvaccinated persons.

The contact details of all visitors are recorded.
