In England, it is reported that the court in Manchester today (Friday) denied Benjamin Mandy the possibility of being released on bail.
As a reminder, a Manchester City defender was arrested on suspicion of four rapes (three in October 2020 and one last week) and one more case of sexual assault.
This means that the Frenchman will remain in custody until the hearing of his case, when it is expected to take place on September 10.
It was further alleged in the report that at a hearing held for the actor in the police the actor “strongly denies” the allegations against him.
Yesterday, Manchester City, Mandy's team, announced that the player is suspended "until this process is completed".
As soon as the announcement came from the English champions, the storm began around the affair, which seems to be going to keep many journalists and football fans in the world busy.

A police spokesman referred to the affair last night and said: "The proceedings against Mandy are ongoing and he will have the right to a fair trial."
