The para-athletes of the French delegation can fall asleep serenely after winning six additional medals this Friday!
A nice booty which comes in addition to the three pocketed medals, in particular, those won Thursday by Alexandre Léauté and Axel Bourlon.
We take a tour of what happened in Tokyo during this third Paralympic day.
The runway looking good
Dorian Foulon shouted with joy as he crossed the finish line, ahead of Australian Alistair Donohoe in the individual pursuit final: “It's all the pressure… because last night I couldn't sleep. The screams might have been excessive, but that's what I had on my mind. Everything comes out: the years of work, relentlessness, the ups and downs, ”explains the 23-year-old pistard, born with a club foot on the left side, who won the 2nd French title. Before going on the road, where he is also known at ease, he has some track left. In teams this Saturday, he will compete in speed alongside Kevin Le Cunff (4th in the C5 pursuit) and Alexandre Léauté. Earlier in the morning, the latter, the first gold medalist of the French delegation, won a second medal, silver,in the final of the 1,000m time trial in category C1-3.

Some time later, another medal fell into the blue-white-red basket.
Sandrine Martinet, the judokate, recovered the money, in tears, against 21-year-old Azerbaijani Shahana Hajiyeva in the final.
We were waiting for him in first place at the end of his fight of - 48 kg (category B2) in the legendary room of the Nippon Budokan.
It is the fourth medal in five Paralympic Games for the visually impaired 38-year-old judoka, the third in silver.
Bronze for Portal, and for athletics
Alex Portal reached the third step of the podium in the 400-meter freestyle (S13).
A few days ago, the young favorite just missed the podium in the 100-meter butterfly.
Today, he finished his race with a time of 4′06 ″ 49 behind the Belarusian Ihar Boki, crowned for the third time in these Games, and the Ukrainian Kyrylo Garashchenko.
💬 "I was hoping for better than that"
🇫🇷🥉 Bronze medalist in the 400m freestyle, Alex Portal is torn between happiness and disappointment.
The Frenchman is still in contention for three more races.
