The full closure of the B 307 between Hausham and Schliersee is imminent.

Now there is also a night-time rail replacement service due to work on the railway line.

And the scope is also being increased for road construction.

Hausham / Schliersee

- Anyone who thought that the two-week full closure of the B 307 between Hausham and Schliersee would already reach the highest value on the traffic chaos scale from August 30th, has done the calculation without DB Netz AG. In the nights (10 p.m. to 5 a.m.) from Tuesday, August 31st to Saturday, September 11th, it goes one better. As the Bayerische Regiobahn (BRB), an equally affected train operator, reports, the railway line is also tight during this period. The reason is underground cable construction and signal foundation work along the tracks in connection with the switch to electronic interlocking technology (we reported). The result: passengers have to change to buses between Miesbach and Bayrischzell - for which the diversion through Leitzachtal naturally also applies.

"An extremely complicated rail replacement service," says BRB managing director Fabian Amini with a sigh.

Especially for passengers who have to go to Schliersee or Fischhausen-Neuhaus.

You are forced to use separate shuttle buses to and from Fischbachau.

And in Hausham, according to the BRB, the buses do not stop at the train station due to the construction site, but on Brentenstrasse.

A footpath for those unfamiliar with the area is signposted.

The road between the petrol station and Schliersee is paved

In the meantime, drivers are doomed to drive around the area. Due to the asphalting of the main road at the level of the Westenhofen level crossing, the section between the Agip petrol station in Hausham and Urtlbachstraße in Schliersee is completely closed. A quasi-unique opportunity to lend a hand at Kirchbichl, too, thought the Rosenheim State Building Authority.

As construction manager Ferdinand Klettner from the engineering office Infra announced on request, the office decided relatively quickly to use the full closure for a ceiling renovation of the B 307 between Hausham and Schliersee.

"The old asphalt is milled off and the new one is put on again," explains Klettner.

“We have to squeeze that in now.” And hope for the best possible weather in order to be able to keep to the now even tighter schedule.

"Basically we have to do magic, but unfortunately we can't."

Industriestrasse almost finished, but it will take some time before the new level crossing goes into operation

Nevertheless, the work is progressing well.

In Hausham even faster than expected.

As Klettner informs, Industriestraße is now completely asphalted, only the one for the roadway markings for the new traffic routing would be missing.

In view of the upcoming full closure, there is no time pressure for the time being.

It will be some time before the cars cross the new level crossing for the first time.

The acceptance by the railway will take place from September 20 to 23, explains Klettner.

However, since the paving of the new asphalt pavement for Schlierseer Strasse has already been brought forward to mid-October, the old level crossing will remain in operation for three weeks longer.

The lesser evil for Klettner.

"In this way we avoid an early onset of winter in November interfering with us."

Soon there will be a one-sided closure in Fischausen: Then it will be really tight

As is well known, this is also the reason why the full closure of the asphalting of the B 307 at the Fischhausen level crossing is planned from September 27 to October 9.

Initially, the construction site will only be passable on one side with traffic lights, although the exact time of the closure is still unclear.

In any case, this is another hurdle that drivers expect on the diversion - and the buses in the rail replacement service.

At least during the day, emphasizes BRB boss Amini, the train is the ideal solution to get directly from Hausham to Schliersee.

Nobody needs to worry about a lack of seats, says Amini: “Unfortunately we are still quite empty.” Perhaps that will change in the coming weeks.
