Polish star Robert Lewandowski, Bayern Munich's top scorer, won the German Player of the Year award for this year.
And the "Opta" statistics network reported that Lewandowski, 33, received 356 votes out of 563, beating his teammate Thomas Muller, who received 41 votes, while Borussia Dortmund's Erling Haaland came third with 38 votes.
Lewandowski scored 41 goals with Bayern to lead him to the German League title last season, surpassing the record number of goals scored in one season, which was set by the late Gerd Muller in the 1972 season.
