Moto GP: untouchable, Fabio Quartararo wins in Great Britain and widens the gap in the standings

The Frenchman signed at Silverstone the 5th success of his season. He is now ultra-favorite for the title of world champion.


Fabio Quartararo achieved another masterstroke at Silverstone.

The Frenchman, driving his Yahama, won the British Motorcycle GP without batting an eyelid after taking the lead in the first laps without ever letting go.

Quartararo takes icisa 5th victory of the MotoGP season, which allows him to increase his lead at the top of the world championship to 65 points.

The Spaniards Alex Rins (Suzuki) and Aleix Espargaro (Aprilia) are second and third.

The latter offers the Italian brand its first podium since its return to the category in 2015. The other Frenchman Johann Zarco (Ducati-Pramac) is 11th.

It was never in doubt!
