Real Madrid, the Spanish first division football club, announced today the signing of midfielder Eduardo Camavinga, on a six-year contract, from French club Rennes.
Reuters quoted a statement from the Spanish club as saying, "Real Madrid and Rennes have reached an agreement regarding the transfer of Eduardo Camavinga, who joins the club on a six-year contract until June 30, 2027."
Real Madrid recorded Camavinga in the list of his second team, called Castilla, as allowed by the regulations of the Spanish League, given the age of the player, which the club did before with Vinicius Junior, Rodrygo and Reinier.
According to local media, the value of the deal for the 18-year-old French international was about 30 million euros, equivalent to 35.41 million dollars.
