According to Athletic Reporter Sams Chernia, Brooklyn took a significant step toward strengthening the team today (Thursday) when she signed with forward / center Paul Millsap, who has played for Denver for the past four years and became a free agent this summer after ending his contract with the Nuggets.
Millsap's agent reportedly confirmed that a settlement had indeed been reached between the player and Nets.
Millsap reportedly considered bids from four other teams, including the Clippers, Warriors and Bulls - but in the end the four-time player decided to play for All-Star following Brooklyn's offer.
The Nets have so far this summer added Australian Patti Mills, Javato Carter and James Johnson, along with rookie guard Cam Thomas.
