The Syrian Olympic football team lost to its Jordanian counterpart in a friendly match that brought them together today in Jordan.

This match comes as part of a training camp that our national team is conducting in Jordan in preparation for the participation in the qualifiers for the U-23 Asian Cup scheduled in the Uzbek capital Tashkent next year.

The draw for the qualifiers placed our team in the first group along with the teams of Qatar, Yemen and Sri Lanka, whose matches will be held in Doha with a single-stage grouping system between the 23rd and 30th of next October.
