Elitzur Netanya did its best to participate in the Premier League this season, but a particularly long saga came to an end today (Sunday), when the league director announced that the team did not submit the budget for the 2021/22 season on time and therefore could not take part in the senior league games.
Elitzur Netanya was required to submit the minimum budget of NIS 6.5 million to date at 16:00, but did not do so and will remain in the national league.
"Unfortunately, the group could not meet this budget," the principal announced.

Even before the end of the deadline, the league's director sent a letter to Elitzur Netanya, Avidan Nagar, in response to Netanya's request to lower the minimum budget. The letter reads, among other things: NIS, created many years ago. It has not been activated at least in the last decade (and we do not remember it being activated since it was installed) nor was it requested to be activated during this period. H. It follows, therefore, that when the installation was amended, the principal would transfer to each group about 12% -15% of the groups' minimum budget. "We learned (also from the group itself) that your group has shown the Budget Control Authority the ability to meet the minimum budget of NIS 6.5 million, and only now, long after, finds and announces that it can not meet it.
