  • "Hope" was played 6 times at the Paralympic Games in Tokyo.

This is the highest gold medal crop of the Israeli delegation in the last 33 years, since the 15th that Sportano won in Seoul in 1988.

  • The 9 medals won by the athletes in blue and white (6 gold, 2 silver and 1 bronze) are a significant leap compared to the previous games in Rio 2016, which became the poorest in history and yielded 3 medals (all bronze).

This is Israel's highest number of wins since Athens in 2004 (when it had 13).

  • 22 is Israel's place in the medal rankings in Tokyo.

The big winner of the Games was China, with 96 gold medals (Britain, in second place, with only 41) and 207 in total (124 for the British).

  • 4 athletes are responsible for the 9 Israeli medals: Ami Daddown won 3 of them (2 gold and 1 silver), Mark Millier also had 3 (including 2 gold and 1 bronze), Iyad Shelby graph 2 gold medals and Moran Samuel added a medal One money.

  • Israel has 384 medals in the history of the Paralympic Games: 129 gold, 125 silver and 130 bronze.

She is ranked 14th in history in the number of gold medals, and 15th in the total number of medals.

  • 8 of the 9 medals in Tokyo were won in the pool, which should come as no surprise.

The swimming industry is Israel's most successful in the Paralympic Games of all time, with 175 medals (45% of the total).

The second industry in the table, athletics, is far behind with 114 wins.
