A day after the International Judo Federation expelled judoka Fathi Nurin for ten years, the Algerian shared his feelings after the decision.

In a conversation he gave to the local newspaper "N-Nahar", it does not seem at all that he even has a drop of remorse for retiring from the Tokyo 2020 Olympics in order to avoid a possible encounter with the purity of Israeli botball.

After Nurin received the heavy punishment imposed on him by surprise, the 30-year-old Algerian said: "The punishment given by the International Judo Association was severe, and yet predictable. It was a sporting punishment of a political nature, and it was planned. The suspension for a decade for a 30-year-old athlete is likely to end his career, so Nurin intends to do everything in his power to reverse the decision: "I call on the Algerian authorities to intervene because this decision will have consequences."
