2021-09-08T15:38:45.247Z

Which channels, which competitions, which posters in plain text: all you need to know about the broadcasting of football on television in 2021-2022.

Champions League

Each week, Canal + and RMC Sport will co-broadcast the two best posters, one on Tuesday and one on Wednesday.

It's a safe bet that Paris Saint-Germain will be systematically chosen by the two channels.

All other matches will be broadcast by beIN Sports and its multiple channels.

Only the final will be available in clear, on TF1.

Europa League and Europa League Conference

Small difference for the C3 and the C4 compared to the C1.

Canal + and the M6 group (which also owns the W9 channel) will broadcast each week the best poster of the Europa League and the Europa League Conference combined.

The two channels will therefore have to choose a single match that will surely include OM, OL, Monaco (C3) or Rennes (C4).

Everything else will be on RMC Sport.

There will therefore always be unencrypted European football this season with M6 and W9, but in a very light dose.

League 1

You may have already taken advantage of it this season: Amazon has launched its “Prime Video” platform where 8 of the 10 Ligue 1 matches can be found every weekend.

Canal + broadcasts two posters per day: that of Saturday 9 p.m. and that of Sunday 5 p.m.

Amazon also has the advantage of broadcasting the 10 biggest shocks of the season and the three multiplexes (19th, 37th and 38th days).

Canal + offers the best poster of 28 of the 38 other days.

To see Ligue 1 in the clear, you will have to go back.

League 2

The lower echelon of French football has a lot of clear visibility.

The L'Équipe channel will broadcast the Ligue 2 multiplex until the end of the season.

On Saturday at 7 p.m., eight meetings take place simultaneously.

They can also be followed individually on the L'Équipe website during the first 10 days (6 have already been played).

Then, individual dating will switch to Amazon.

What about the other two Ligue 2 posters?

They are broadcast by beIN Sports.

Foreign Championships

BeIN Sports owns the rights to the German, Italian and Spanish championships this season.

For England, Canal + and RMC Sport co-broadcast all Premier League matches.

The Portuguese championship belongs exclusively to RMC Sport.

To follow football outside France, you must therefore subscribe.

French team

In 2018, TF1 and M6 signed an agreement to share the Blues matches until 2022. Hence the regular alternation between the two channels which are half and half.

The next meeting of Didier Deschamps' men, Thursday October 7 against Belgium, will be on TF1.
