London, SANA- The English Football Association has fined Chelsea FC for the incidents of the Liverpool match in the Premier League

London-Sana

The English Football Association has fined Chelsea FC for the incidents of the Liverpool match in the English Premier League.

The federation said in a statement published on its official website that Chelsea FC was fined 25,000 pounds for violating the rules of the English Football Association during the Liverpool match on Saturday, August 28.

Referee Anthony Taylor before the end of the first half awarded a penalty kick after Reese James touched the ball with his arm on the goal line and sent off the “Blues” defender. Chelsea players could not control themselves and got into an argument with the Liverpool players, so that Antonio Rudiger and goalkeeper Edward Mendy got two yellow cards.

Chelsea are preparing to face Aston Villa next Saturday, while Liverpool visit Leeds United on Sunday, after the end of the current international break.
