On the way to winning the most prestigious personal title?

The first Israeli coach of all time at the World Basketball Hall of Fame?
Next month David Blatt will mark two years to the end of his coaching career, but he may not have finished graduating yet.
Unlike championships, trophies and medals, where he was always in a group, this time it's personal recognition - and upscale especially - Powered: Israel is included in the list of candidates to enter the Hall of Fame of FIBA.
Blatt is one of 29 coaches candidates to enter the Hall of Fame, flanked on the list are the others Z'liko Obradovic and Bauge Malkobitz, Serbs, Valerio Bianchini and Sandro gamba Italians, and Zmago Sgadin Slovenia. last year selected three coaches (Chuck Daly, Ettore Messina and Tom Maher).

Blatt (62) presents a rare list of titles in its variety, and it dominates tournaments and enterprises of various kinds:
* He won as head coach of the three senior trophies in the European team basketball team - Euroleague (with Maccabi Tel Aviv in 2014), Eurocup (with Drushpak in 2018) ) And Euroflig (with Dynamo St. Petersburg in 2005).
* Marched the Russian team to win the European Championship in 2007 and an Olympic bronze medal in 2012.
* With the Cleveland Cavaliers was crowned NBA Eastern Conference Champion in 2015.
* And he also had 14 local championships and trophies in Israel, Italy and the Adriatic League.
* As an assistant coach, he won the Euroleague and the Super League with Pini Gershon and Maccabi Tel Aviv.
Even after contracting multiple sclerosis and getting off the stage, Blatt became a sort of ambassador who spoke openly about dealing with the difficulties the disease had brought to his life.
Over the years, the Israeli has coached many key stars in world basketball.
LeBron James, Kyrie Irving, Sean Marion and Kevin Love were the most prominent of them, but quite a few have passed under him in Europe as well - such as Anthony Parker, Andrei Kirilenko, Alexei Sheved, Vasilis Spanoulis, Nate Huffman, Nikola Vujicic and David Blue.
