“I take note of the decision taken by the LFP even if I expected better for OM.
Our players are injured, the field is invaded, the security conditions are not met… and despite that we have to replay the match.
Ah I forgot, we are not OL!
So reacted Sébastien Jibrayel, Deputy Mayor of Marseille in charge of Sport, on his social networks following the decisions made Wednesday evening by the disciplinary committee of the Professional Football League concerning the incidents of the meeting between Nice and OM.
I take note of the decision taken by the @LFPfr even if I expected better for the # OM.
Our players are injured, the field is invaded, the security conditions are not met ... and despite that we have to replay the match.
Ah I forgot, we are not the @ OL!

The choice to apostrophize Olympique Lyonnais and to refer to the sanctions of the incidents of Bastia-OL during the 2016-2017 season did not please the president of the Rhone club, Jean-Michel Aulas.
The latter was quick to respond to the tweet of the Marseille deputy, as he is used to: "Thank you for not using us as a counterfire, that does not honor you as an elected representative of the Republic. .

Please do not use us as a backfire, it does not honor you as elected representative of the Republic.

Sanctions for Nice and OM
The decisions taken by the LFP did not go very well on the side of Marseille.
As a reminder, the disciplinary committee decided to replay the match on a neutral ground and behind closed doors.
If Nice receives a penalty of three games behind closed doors and a withdrawal of two points, one of which is suspended, Olympique de Marseille faces individual sanctions.
