AC Milan international striker Olivier Giroud (34, 110 caps) has recovered from COVID-19, the Serie A club announced on Friday, and the Frenchman may now be able to play against Liverpool in the League champions.
The 34-year-old Frenchman tested positive for the virus on September 2, shortly after scoring two goals in the 4-1 win over Cagliari, but he is now likely to be available for the Group B clash on Wednesday at Anfield.

Olivier Giroud joined Milan in July from Chelsea, after spending nine years in England with Arsenal and the Blues.
