In the summer when Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi, Sergio Ramos and many other senior players switched teams, Pedro Rodriguez's move is not considered the biggest of the transfer window.
However, crossing the Spaniard’s road from Rome to rival bitter Lazio is arguably the most controversial move of the summer.
The 34-year-old winger, formerly at Barcelona and Chelsea, arrived in the boot country last summer when he moved from Chelsea to Rome.
In his first season in the Giallorossi uniform, the 2010 world champion with the Spanish team found it difficult to express himself, and in 40 appearances in all competitions he found the network only six times.
With the arrival of Jose Mourinho to the team, Pedro's path was marked out, and in an unusual move he moved to Mauricio Sari's Lazio.
The Blues did not pay any transfer fees for the Spaniard, but the deal included bonuses related to future achievements.

In two league games so far, Lazio are in perfect balance with the Spaniard opening at 11 both in 1: 3 over Ampoli and 1: 6 over Spezia.
After reuniting with Sari who coached him at Chelsea, Pedro was interviewed by Lazio Style Radio and told of the media move: "There was a difficult situation in Rome. They left me out of the squad without anyone talking to me about it. They told me I had to leave."
Speaking about the new station, the Spaniard said: "When I spoke to Sari, it was a great opportunity. It is true that no one has made the direct transition between rivals for a long time, but I am very happy to be here. Rome belongs to the past, I do not want to talk about it anymore. I "Here to work with Lazio and Sari, I want to give it my all."
