American Rajiv Ram and Britain's Joe Salisbury won the US Open men's doubles title today, defeating Bruno Suarez and Jimmy Murray 3-6, 6-2, 6-2 in the final.
Winners at Flushing Meadows as well as the 2016 Australian Open, Murray and Suarez saved three break points in the first game of the third set before Ram and Salisbury pulled off a fourth attempt before breaking again in the seventh game.
Last year's Australian Open champion fired five serves and 22 winners in the third set en route to the title.
This is the third time that this doubles has reached the final of a Grand Slam together.
