The district league climber from 2019 has tried since the beginning to keep the class with a lot of young players.
And when it comes to a young team in Kranzberg, it means really young: In the 4-0 win against FC Lengdorf on Tuesday, the average age of the starting line-up was a little over 23.5 years.
And the three "seniors" Christoph Holmeier (30), Mömkes (29) and Simon Hauner (27) already stood out extremely.
At the first Kreisliga game in 2019 against Wörth, the average age of the starting eleven was just over 22 years.

The problem: The young wild ones tear themselves apart on the pitch, but they are not always effective and serene. Especially when it comes to goals scored, Kranzberg can usually be found at the bottom of the ranking, despite the sometimes attractive style of play. To remedy this, Daniel Mömkes was brought in from Moosinning in 2020. As a playing assistant coach, the striker is eminently important for coach Anton Kopp: On the one hand, he can lead the young teammates on the field and at the same time let them benefit from his experience and excellent tactical behavior. On the other hand, Mömkes as a footballer is a type who can make the difference with his routine and scorer quality, says Kopp. When working together, the father of the family is a nice, calm character who sets impulses in the training work and brings good ideas for the club.
The 29-year-old striker has now fully arrived in Kranzberg: “I have never regretted the move, have now moved here, stay here and want to help the club achieve a lot.
But that only works step by step, ”emphasizes Mömkes.
The goal scorer does not mind that his own goal balance sometimes suffers when taking these steps.
The team is very young, sometimes you notice that many people have to mature a little more in their heads.
He and the older colleagues would have to pull the team along with them from time to time.
In return, everyone benefited when it worked.
“Because nothing works alone.
It's only easy to score goals when you play well as a team, ”says the co-player-coach.

Not only the development on the field, but also the team spirit and the good atmosphere next to the field make Mömkes look very confidently towards the goal of relegation. "For the next game we will take the positive from the 4-0 win against Lengdorf, we have gained confidence," explains the 29-year-old. “Because it was difficult to clear my head after the last two weaker games. With the tailwind and the victory, we will go in highly motivated against TSV Au on Monday. "
That will also be necessary.
Because the Holledauer, who rank behind Kranzberg in the hit statistics, also won their game in the English Week against TSV Moosburg 4-0 and thus celebrated their first win of the season.
A goal festival is still not to be expected on Monday, even if TSV striker Dominic Schermbach returns to the team to compete against Daniel Mömkes in a duel of the goal scorers.
