Verstappen jumped from the pole position and lost the advantage after stopping too slowly at the refueling point, when he returned to the track when he was only in 10th place.

Hamilton meanwhile overtook Lando Norris and grabbed the lead, but when he came out of the pit in the 26th lap came the clash with Verstappen.

Red Bull's car surpassed that of Mercedes, and Hamilton came out miraculously unscathed, thanks to the HALO defense system.

And thanks to HALO.

Both drivers were to blame for this accident and the safety vehicle was put in, when after a few minutes the race was renewed and Australian Daniel Ricardo rose to first place and kept it until the end.

First victory for McLaren's 32-year-old driver since Monaco in 2018, when he also represented Red Bull, and his first podium in his new team.

Norris finished second while Valetri Butas, who won the sprint last night, overtook Sergio Peres and Charles Leckler towards the end to take third place.
