Gareth Bale will miss Real Madrid's Champions League opener against Inter Milan on Wednesday.
Bale had previously not been part of Sunday's 5-2 La Liga win over Celta Vigo after suffering an injury in training.
He is absent from the squad list released Monday for the trip to Milan.

reported that Bale suffered a hamstring injury and is not expected to resume until October, ruling him out of two Champions League games and four La Liga games.
Bale's representatives did not speak.
Bale, who is in the final year of his contract with Real and spent last season on loan at Tottenham.
He started the first three La Liga games of the season and scored in the 3-3 draw at Levante last month.
