The rescheduling of the duel will take place after OM's trip to Rome against Lazio in the Europa League on October 21 and the reception of Paris SG in Ligue 1 at the Vélodrome on October 24. After the meeting against the Aiglons, OM will go to Clermont on the last weekend of October, before hosting Lazio, for the return match, on November 4.

An announcement that follows the decisions of the disciplinary committee of the LFP which met last Wednesday in a Parisian hotel.

In addition to replaying entirely this match of the 3rd day of Ligue 1 - which had been stopped in the 75th minute when the Riviera club led 1-0 -, the committee had decided to sanction Nice for the loss of a point in classification, plus another suspended, three matches behind closed doors including the one to be replayed against Marseille and the one already played without an audience against Bordeaux.

The Marseillais themselves received individual sanctions, with the suspension of an assistant to Jorge Sampaoli, Pablo Fernandez until the end of the season for a punch to a Nice supporter.

Alvaro Gonzalez and Dimitri Payet take two games of suspension and one suspended respectively.

The images had shocked all fans of the round ball.

The match had slipped in the 75th when Dimitri Payet, victim of projectile throws, threw two bottles of water in the direction of the stands.

A gesture which had provoked the invasion of the field by Nice supporters.

Clashes then took place between players and Marseille staff.

After 90 minutes of procrastination, the meeting had been definitively stopped, despite the requests of the Niçois and the authorities of the LFP to resume, following the desire of the Marseillais not to appear on the lawn.
