Vincent Bordot and his assistant Jimmy Modeste were laid off as a precaution. It was Habib Beye who led the training of Red St

As we announced, Vincent Bordot and the Red Star, it's over.

The coach met this Monday morning his president Patrice Haddad, who recorded the separation.

Since the 6-0 conceded Friday in Annecy during the 6th day of National, this outcome seemed inevitable.

With 4 defeats in 6 games and rather mediocre performances, the Red Star was far from showing the face of a contender for the rise in L2.

Bordot (46) arrived in 2019 after a long period of the Entente SSG.

Last May, it was extended for one year after several weeks of uncertainties.

Bordot had other contacts in National (Annecy, Orléans, Le Mans…) and Haddad had studied other coaching profiles.

The staff had been reinforced by Habib Beye, who arrived as an assistant as part of the preparation of his diplomas.

During matches, the former pro alternated between the bench and the stands with the other assistant, Jimmy Modeste.

Initially scheduled for the morning, training was postponed to the afternoon.

It was managed by the remaining staff: Habib Beye, accompanied by Faouzi Amzal (goalkeeper coach) and Randy Fondelot (assistant coach).

But Beye who is passing her diplomas does not want to don the costume of number 1 immediately anyway.

A new coach should arrive soon.

The management of the Red Star has already received many calls since this weekend.

If Fabien Mercadal (ex-Paris FC, Dunkirk), close to the new recruiting manager Kevin Lesportes, will not come, several avenues are already being studied such as those of Oswald Tanchot (ex-Le Havre, Amiens), Réginald Ray (ex- Paris FC, Valenciennes), Pablo Correa (ex-Nancy, Auxerre) or Karim Mokeddem (ex-Lyon Duchère).
