Ahead of the intriguing meeting tonight (Tuesday) between Bayern Munich and Barcelona in the opening round of the Champions League, former Bavarian president Oli Hans gave an interview in his homeland and revealed a surprising detail about David Alaba, who left Munich this summer and signed for Real Madrid.
As you may recall, Alaba ended his contract last summer in the uniform of his youth teams, and finally signed for Real Madrid after being wanted by a number of teams, including Barcelona.
Hans said that in a conversation between the two, the Austrian said that it was "his dream to play for Barcelona".
The former president said he asked him if he wanted to negotiate with the president or the bankruptcy director.

Hans also said that at the Bavarian luxury club "Barcelona was the team we wanted to be like, but today it is no longer a model for us", when he presents the economic difficulties as a reason.
Regarding the meeting itself, Huns admitted that Bayern are the clear favorites for the meeting: "Barcelona can not show record capacity due to the sale of key players and financial problems."
