The German Borussia Dortmund opened its campaign in the third group stage of the Champions League by beating its Turkish host Besiktas 2-1 in the first round of the tournament.
English star Judy Bellingham opened the scoring for Dortmund in the 20th minute, before making the second goal for young Norwegian scorer Erling Haaland in the 45th + 3 minute, while Besiktas' only goal came in the 90th + 4 minute through Spain's Francisco Montero.
Thus, Dortmund, who won the title in 1997, scored their first 3 points in the group.
