First nation since 2018, Belgium retains its leadership, ahead of Brazil, still 2nd.

For its part, England, with two wins and a draw, took the opportunity to climb to the third step.

The “Three Lions”, recent Euro finalists against Italy, are back on the podium for the first time in nine years.

Portugal, new 7th, and Spain, 8th, switch their places in the standings.

Denmark, new 10th, gains a place and joins the Top 10 that the United States leaves, 13th.

Didier Deschamps' team will have a great opportunity to compete against Belgium, in the semi-final of the Nations League, on Thursday, October 7 in Turin, for its big reunion with the Red Devils since the semi-final of the 2018 World Cup, won 1-0 by the Blues.

Despite mixed results and disappointing performances, the France team is moving slowly but surely towards qualification for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

The Blues lead their group with seven lengths ahead of Ukraine and Finland.

They will try to validate their ticket for the competition next November during the last two qualifying matches, France - Kazakhstan (Saturday November 13) and Finland - France (Tuesday November 16).
