The Erdinger soccer referees are clearly behind their boss.
Erding - The Erdingen group chairman Knut Friedrich was unanimously discharged at the annual general meeting and then re-elected for four years.
In his report on the past term of office, Friedrich showed, among other things, that it was becoming more and more difficult to find referees and to further qualify them. "If it continues like this, we will soon no longer be able to fill the C-class games," said the chairman. With Wolfgang Haslberger from TSV St. Wolfgang (3rd league) there is only one referee in the upper area. The Erding group is no longer represented in the Regionalliga and Bayernliga. With Rico Spyra (TSV Erding), Manuel Müller (TSV St. Wolfgang) and Christian Schunke (FC Schwaig), the Erding group is still represented in the national league. With special regular evenings, the group tries to further encourage and challenge young referees.
In his greeting, the district chairman of Upper Bavaria, Robert Schraudner, particularly pointed out the difficult time due to Corona and the associated hygiene requirements in sport.
He also complained about the lack of referees.
Matthias Zacher, member of the district arbitration committee, - like Schraudner - thanked the management of the Erding group, especially chairman Friedrich, for the good cooperation.
The election committee chaired by Schraudner, with assessors Zacherl and Florian Riepl, had an easy job.
The discharge as well as the election of the chairman was done in a few minutes by acclamation.
Friedrich then brought Monika Pieczonka and Alois Reischenbeck as assessors, Eckehard Lengmüller as secretary and Wolfgang Karl as instructor into his team, thus setting the course for the Erding referee group for the next four years.
