Before the game against SSV Eggenfelden, the FT took a close look at the individual parts of the SE Freising team.
Freising
- So far it has not been a bad season for the regional league footballers of SE Freising, but not a really brilliant one either.
It was also clear to those in charge that the new round would not be a walk in the park.
Before the home game against SSV Eggenfelden (Friday, 8 pm), which coach Alex Plabst describes as one of many "small finals", the FT takes a look at the individual parts of the team.

gate
If there is one constant among the kickers at SE Freising, it is goalkeeper Patrick Negele.
But it had to be, because there was no other alternative available to coach Alex Plabst for a long time.
Access Maximilian Oswald was injured in preparation, but was back on the bench in the end.
School teacher Negele had to fix it - and Freising's gatekeeper is one of the guarantees that Eintracht is currently in sixth place.
His parades this year have already made many opponents desperate.
A curiosity on the side: midfielder Sebastian Thalhammer was available as a substitute keeper until the end of August, sat on the bench for a few games and even stood between the posts in preparation.
Defense
The big construction site before the season seemed to be the defensive department of the Lerchenfelder.
However, at the start of the round, the opposite was true.
Because Osaro Aiteniora, Michael Schmid, Jonas Mayr and Daniel Zanker harmonized wonderfully and - with a few exceptions - defended really well.
But then the bad luck with injuries struck.
Plabst had to swap, Schmid played partially battered.
It would be important for the Freisinger that they can continuously fall back on the secure chain.
midfield
The big castling has so far been in midfield, coach Plabst could not really let his team play. For a long time, the yellow-blacks benefited from the carelessness of newcomer Sebastian Niedermayer, now he tore an outer ribbon against Landshut and will be absent for a longer period of time. The second youngster, Selim Magat, was also able to set great accents if he played. But he too was repeatedly thrown off course by injuries. Andi Manhart also has teething problems. At the beginning of the season, the returnees scored well, but the long vacation break was not good for him. Domagoj Tiric is also hit too often: With his physique and technique, he can do the game of Freising good.
Coach Plabst can rely almost blindly on his co-player-trainer Florian Bittner: He helps out where he is needed, i.e. sometimes in the defense chain.
In addition, Bittner is Freising's busiest scorer with six goals.
What can we expect from returnees Nikolai Davydov?
The next few weeks will show that.
In any case, Plabst thinks very highly of him.
Just like Felix Fischer: Because the U19 climber was set from the start and did not disappoint.
Rather, Fischer acted as if he had been playing in the national league for years.
The SEF, on the other hand, was hit hard by the loss of captain Florian Schmuckermeier: After a cartilage operation, it is unclear when the high-quality technician will return.
attack
Andreas Hohlenburger - and nothing else?
Freising's current attack situation can be described in a similar way.
At the beginning of the season, Alex Plabst was looking for a substitute for the still ailing routinist.
But no personal measure really worked - Luka Brudtloff, for example, it should be noted that he has to get used to the level in the men's national league.
Then Hohlenburger came back - and it seemed as if the top striker had never left.
The "Hohli" is and remains a constant source of unrest in the attack.
And even if it doesn't hit, it always creates danger and tears gaps for others.
