The Iranian volleyball team defeated its Japanese rival during the final match of the Asian Championship, which was held today, to snatch the championship title in these competitions.
The match ended with a score of 3 games in favor of the Iranian team, which won the Asian Volleyball Championship in 2021, and it holds in its record of achievements 4 gold, two silver and one bronze medals.
The Asian Volleyball Championship was held in Japan from 12 to 19 September, in which 16 Asian teams participated. The Iranian and Japanese teams, after qualifying for the final of these competitions, won the participation card in the World Volleyball Championship.
