The series of six games without defeat is history: The footballers of VfB Hallbergmoos came under the wheels on Wednesday evening at 1860 Munich II.

Munich / Hallbergmoos

- VfB Hallbergmoos has seen an upward trend in the past few weeks - but now there has been a crashing setback: After six games without defeat, the VfB men experienced a pitch-black day on Wednesday and came 7-1 at TSV 1860 Munich II ( 1: 2) angry under the wheels.

In the second English week in a row, Hallbergmoos coach Gedi Sugzda relied on rotation: in midfield and attack, four of six positions were swapped - and the coach apparently had a lucky hand.

Because Andre Gasteiger, who was not taken into account last weekend, held out his head - and that was the lead in the 14th minute.

Andi Kostorz had shot a corner, got the ball again, and the little lions were badly sorted on the flank that followed.

But that was it tragically with the Hallbergmoos glory.

VfB leadership only lasts three minutes

Just three minutes later, the hosts equalized - and that was an unfortunate thing. Goalkeeper Ferdi Kozel took two steps out of the box to shorten the angle. The shot was deflected and landed as an arc lamp behind the keeper in the housing. That was bad luck, but the bottom line was the 2-1 lead of TSV 1860 II at halftime: The Lions had more of the game and a small increase in chances and took advantage of a mistake in VfB's build-up in their second goal by Valdrin Konjuhi.

During the break, the chance of a continuation of the series of six games without defeat was still intact - but nobody at VfB knew what was going to happen.

After the restart, the doorbell rang three times within nine minutes - and Hallberg fought himself against a good opponent. It was a throwback to the old days when they conceded an average of almost five goals in the first games of the season and often put the balls in themselves .

Used tag for Hallbergmoos keeper Kozel

This time Kozel also got a used day: The arc lamp to 1: 1 was bad luck, but on the third hit he gave himself a rather harmless shot.

The 5: 1 of TSV 1860 II was then a Kullerball that passed the slipping goalkeeper.

With this gate the mass was read.

The VfB supporters would have liked the game to have ended after an hour.

Because it got even worse: Konjuhi added eight and nine goals this season (67th / 78th) - and the record disaster was perfect.

Up until this bankruptcy, VfB's 5-1 defeat at TSV Wasserburg was the highest result.

And Gedi Sugzda was right: Before the game he had emphasized that you couldn't buy anything for the six games without a defeat, and above all he warned that there would be setbacks.

Only he did not suspect that this would happen on Wednesday and with such violence.
