Javi Martinez has left Munich behind and is now playing in Qatar.
Now his fans have to ask themselves why he has to freeze there in an ice landscape.
Doha - After nine years at Bayern Munich *, Javi Martinez has decided on a new challenge and has moved to the desert state of Qatar. In the capital Doha he is now playing for Qatar SC, which is currently in 10th place. So while the summer in Munich is gradually waning and it will soon be fresher and more wintry, Martinez currently lives in the desert at temperatures between 29 and 39 degrees. Even in December, when the temperature is 25 degrees Celsius, he doesn't need to put on long trousers.
Compared to the Bavarian capital, Martinez * can live a completely different lifestyle there.
No Alps nearby, no Christmas season, winter can only be seen on television.
A circumstance that will not make the Spaniard completely sad, but the 33-year-old seems to be longing to escape the desert heat from Doha for a moment and feel a little cold again.

Javi Martinez: Excursion to a special coffee shop
The two-time Champions League winner posted a photo that seems to show him in cozy winter clothes in an ice cave. Only ice furniture can be seen around him; he is wearing a winter hat, gloves and a thick gray coat. At first glance, of course, one wonders how Martinez can spend his “Cool Sunday” in an igloo in the middle of Doha. The simple answer, however, is that it's in the Subzero coffee shop. Artificial temperatures of up to minus nine degrees Celsius are created there.
The shop consists of ice-cream furniture in oriental style, you can order drinks and specialties from Qatar, among other things.
“Cooling machines keep the temperatures low, the body and psyche of the guests are not harmed.
The cooling system kills the bacteria in the body, ”said owner Abdulaziz Al Hammadi in an interview.
Martinez didn't build an igloo or moved away from Doha.

"You seem to miss the Munich temperatures," wrote a user under the photo. “Go to Doha, they said. Enjoy the sun and the warm climate, they said, ”said another, amused. A parallel to ex-Bayern colleague Jerome Boateng was also drawn. After all, Javi's sunglasses are reminiscent of the central defender's outfits.
However, he cannot inspire all of his followers with the photo.
Several complain that the establishment cannot be climate-friendly.
After all, a lot of energy would be consumed in the store's intricate cooling system.
Martinez doesn't have to support that too.
One asks: "What about climate change?"
“I'm not sure it's cool when we waste our resources like that,” notes another.
It is not known whether Martinez takes the criticism of some fans to heart.
