Montpellier-Bordeaux: the bus of Gironde supporters stuck before the match, at least sixteen lightly injured

On the sidelines of Montpellier-Bordeaux, the coach of Girondins supporters was stuck at the exit of the motorway.


If on the ground the match between Montpellier and Bordeaux is removed, the pre-match of the meeting was not.

A bus of Girondins supporters, on the way to attend the match against the MHSC, at the Mosson stadium was attacked by other supporters, from the Montpellier club according to the Actu.fr site.

The bus would have fallen into an ambush, stretched by about fifty supporters of the local club.

A hundred Bordeaux supporters had originally planned to go to La Mosson.

Sixteen minor injuries

A first assessment reports sixteen light injuries, according to the firefighters of Sdis 34 who dispatched large resources to the site, including several ambulances.

The Montpellier public security police are on the scene in large numbers.

The situation was under control by the emergency services when the match kicked off at 7 p.m.
