Syrian boxing national team player Alaa Ghosoun has qualified for the semi-finals of the World Military Championship currently being held in the Russian capital, Moscow.
Aladdin Ghosoun qualified for the semi-finals after defeating his Uzbek rival in the quarter-finals in the 91kg weight category.
Ghosoun reached the quarter-finals after defeating Jordanian boxer Ahmed Toeimat in the round of 16.
