The footballers from Vatanspor Freising lost the district cup semi-finals against SpVgg Altenerding with 1: 3.
There were some controversial scenes.

- The dream of winning the Toto Cup Donau / Isar ended for the footballers from Vatanspor Freising in the semi-finals: The district classist lost 1: 3 (1: 1) to the A-classist SpVgg Altenerding on Tuesday evening.
For the brave Freising, it was a thoroughly unfortunate defeat.
Vatanspor was wide awake from the start and already took the lead after eleven minutes: The referee gave a penalty, which Burak Özdemir converted.
The team almost saved the lead in the locker room, but things went wrong towards the end of round one: Ex-Vatanspor kicker Leart Bilalli equalized (34th), and then Cenk Toprak saw the yellow-red card (45th) .
The expulsion for repeated foul play was okay.
Vatanspor Freising scores two goals - but none counts
Vatanspor was far from defeated.
Because after the break, the hosts had a really strong phase in which they dictated the game for 15 minutes and left good chances to take the lead again.
However, the goal fell through Elmaz Mujic (64th) on the other side - and there you could discuss whether it was an offside position.
Coach Masat: That little bit of luck was missing
The Freising had to increase the risk and definitely had opportunities to get back into the match.
The ball was twice in Altenerdinger Tor - but once the ball was out of bounds on the flank and once it was waved offside.
Both decisions were close and therefore debatable.
In a counterattack, Florian Knaller (89th) made it 3-1 - and Vatanspor coach Erhan Masat drew his hat to his team: "I'm satisfied because we showed a strong fighting performance." Ultimately, only that little bit Lacks luck.
