INTERVIEW - The former director of the 2018 Ryder Cup in France talks about the legacy of the event and regrets the prolonged absence of a Blue in the European team.


While the 43rd Ryder Cup takes place this weekend at Whistling Straits (United States), the president of the French Golf Federation confides in

with his usual outspokenness.

- How do you judge today the impact of the Ryder Cup 2018 organized in France?

It's a real frustration that there are still people who doubt this impact!

When I embarked on this candidacy in 2009, the federation (FFG) did not know anyone in the political world in France and internationally.

This project brought together all the players.

This served us twelve years later during the last confinements.
