The footballers of TSV Eching are still too unstable for reliable game predictions.
The next opponent TSV Rohrbach has something that the zebras lack.
- The mood at TSV Eching was in the basement after the 4-0 defeat against Kammerberg.
That changed quickly.
"We had a team evening and had a lot of fun," reports coach Michael Schütz.
And further: “It went from disappointed to in a good mood pretty quickly.” Schütz explains that the game left no traces.
On Sunday (2.30 p.m.) the zebras want to prove this at TSV Rohrbach.
Will that work?
"Our games are like surprise eggs - we don't know what's going to happen," said the coach.
That could change soon.
Philippe Göbel is out because of a torn muscle fiber
The Echinger suffered at the beginning of the season from the fact that there were major personnel changes from game to game.
Schütz often had to switch to four or five positions.
The squad will not be complete in Rohrbach either.
Philippe Göbel got it last.
He will be out because of a torn hamstring.
"Otherwise, apart from a few wounds, it looks pretty good," says Schütz.
An important addition: "Of course, one or the other player is still far from the maximum in terms of fitness."
TSV Eching: The magic word is compensation
Eching's opponent is one step further. The Rohrbachers also had problems at the start of the season, but recently they have clinched three wins in a row. In the table it went several places up to ninth place at a rapid pace. The Rohrbachers have what the zebras lack: players with a built-in goal guarantee. Michael Humbach, for example. He scored 16 and 17 goals in the past two seasons. Oliver Duchale is also always good for goals. This year Dominik Kaindl is on the right track. The standard specialist stands at five boxes. Schütz: "We are missing a striker who scores ten to 15 goals."
The magic word is compensation.
The Echingers have to compensate for this by creating clear opportunities as a team and not relying on the individual class of individuals.
Being in tune would help.
And even if the zebras are better positioned than they were before, it will take time for them to appear stable.
Until then, the “surprise egg” principle applies.
“The team is training well.
But I can't say how it will turn out then, ”says Schütz.
