The German national basketball player Satou Sabally failed with the Dallas Wings in the women's professional league WNBA right at the start of the play-off.
At Chicago Sky, the Texans lost 64:81 (29:44) in the first round in front of 4672 spectators.
For the 23-year-old Sabally it was the first play-off game of her WNBA career, the previous year she had missed the championship round with the Wings.
Sabally hit 50 percent of her throws from the field and got twelve points and four rebounds.
The top scorer of the Wings was Arike Ogunbowale with 22 points.
At Chicago, Candace Parker managed a double-double with eleven points and 15 rebounds, top scorer Kahleah Copper scored 23 points.
Dallas had finished the main round in seventh, Chicago in sixth.
Out in pain
Sabally, who took part in the WNBA Allstar Game for the first time this season, obviously had to struggle with Achilles tendon problems during the game in Chicago.
She had only recently made her comeback after a two-month injury break.
Chicago will now face third-placed Minnesota Lynx in the next round.
