The beautiful revenge of Boris Neveu.
The Frenchman, 35, had only managed a seventh place in his first Olympics, a few weeks ago in Tokyo.
A disappointment for the experienced kayaker, whom he was able to quickly sweep away to afford a world title, this Saturday in Bratislava, Slovakia.

Sixth in the semi-final, Neveu won the K1 final (individual slalom) by flying over the race, finishing flawlessly with almost four seconds ahead of Italian Marcello Beda and Spaniard Joan Crespo. This is the second individual world champion title for Boris Neveu, after a first medal in 2014, in the United States. But it is also his second medal of the week, since he was also crowned in the team event on Wednesday.
After the Olympics, Neveu confessed his frustration, believing that "physically, mentally, I felt in full possession of my means".
What he therefore proved this weekend in Bratislava.
“I am absolutely incapable of knowing if I want to (continue).
But Paris 2024, it is only in three years so it is not so far ... ”, he continued.
Maybe this title can convince him to keep going a little bit.
