Lewis Hamilton won the Russian Grand Prix.

In the final laps of the race, the Mercedes driver benefited from a spin in the McLaren by Lando Norris, who had been in the lead up until then.

Hamilton's World Championship rival Max Verstappen (Red Bull) made the race catch up, starting from last place and finishing the race in second place.

For Hamilton it was the 100th success in Formula 1. Michael Schumacher follows in second place with 91 victories, followed by Sebastian Vettel with 53.

Since the premiere in 2014, a Mercedes has always won the Sochi race.
