Briton Lewis Hamilton won his 100th Formula 1 World Championship after winning the Russian Grand Prix today.
According to Sky Sports, Hamilton managed to achieve first place in the race held at Sochi Circuit as part of the 15th round of the championship, surpassing Red Bull's Dutch driver Max Verzapen, who finished second, while Spain's Carlos Sainz, Ferrari's driver, finished third.
With this win, Hamilton regained the lead in the drivers' standings in the championship with 246.5 points.
