The US team won the Ryder Cup.
With three wins and a sure draw, the Americans extended their lead on Europe to 14.5: 6.5 on the Whistling Straits Golf Course in Wisconsin.
For the Americans it is the 27th victory in the prestigious duel.
The European players around the Spanish world number one Jon Rahm on the final day of the 43rd edition of the continental competition were far from the hoped-for record comeback.
Rory McIlroy (Northern Ireland), who had weakened on Friday, won his round against Olympic champion Xander Schauffele.
But Scottie Scheffler, who beat cream, Patrick Cantlay and Bryson DeChambeau won their singles.
Collin Morikawa scored the decisive half point with a draw against Viktor Hovland.
On Saturday the US team had already extended its lead to 11: 5 and was only 3.5 points away from triumph before the final twelve singles.
With the success, the Americans improved their record in the most important team competition in golf to 27 wins, 14 losses and two draws.
Martin Kaymer was there for three of the European victories, the 36-year-old German is considered a Ryder Cup specialist.
But he's out of shape and wasn't a player this year.
