Two weeks ago, Borussia Dortmund succeeded in kicking off the premier class with a hardly threatened 2-1 away win at Besiktas Istanbul.
Although most of the fans were happy about the result, the BVB special jersey presented on that day was rejected by large parts of the supporters.
The reason for the displeasure of the fans was the lack of the traditional club logo on the chest of the jersey.
Instead of the black and yellow coat of arms, only a transparent logo similar to a watermark adorned the dress.

The following weekend, the Dortmund fans expressed their criticism of the new jersey with a poster as part of the home game against Union Berlin.
On the banner, the supporters quoted the club's reaction to the criticism: "'Your criticism has arrived.'" The quotation was accompanied by the addition: "Our patience is at the end!" against the shirt that was used for the first time against Besiktas.

Now, to the delight of their supporters, the Dortmund team announced: It will also be the last time that BVB * will appear without a logo. According to an announcement, the club “contacted UEFA and sought approval for a logo variant in a contrasting color”. On Friday noon, the Dortmunders received the green light: the European association * approved the application.
Marco Rose's team will wear the new jersey against the Portuguese champions, but this time it will feature the classic crest.
Dortmund's supplier Puma also apologized for the missing logo.
The change to the European Cup jersey is not the first, several months ago leaked pictures of the jersey had already caused trouble because it was designed entirely without a logo.
Now the coat of arms has been adapted for the second time.
