I am lucky to have a family like mine.
But I'm not making it difficult for them.

You are ahead in basketball but also in education with the baccalaureate already in your pocket. Are you going to focus on your sport from now on?
I will also participate in small training sessions. It is not necessarily to obtain a diploma, but simply to stay cultured. Soon I will start to learn Spanish and do drawing training. I like to draw. Just being in basketball is not the way I want to live. I need brain stimulation, reflection in my life. I like to think, find answers to my questions. I like to read too. It helps me relax. It's fun, like eating good food.
Have you always dreamed of the Olympic Games, organized in Paris in 2024?
Yes, but I prefer to give myself logical objectives to be in a certain continuity in fact.
It's a dream to do the Olympics in Paris but for the moment it doesn't take up too much space in my mind.
The seed of Paris 2024 will germinate over time.
I hope this will become a concrete goal.
How did you come to basketball?
I have the impression that it has always been there.
When I was little, I was good at all sports.
In basketball also so I was outclassed.
I liked it like any kid likes to play.
Today, I still like it the same way.

You benefit from impressive traction in relation to your height. Did you have to work it?
It's totally natural. The reason tall players are less agile in general is because they grew up really fast. The body is growing so fast that it cannot get used to the changes in measurements. I was lucky to be grown up from childhood. From elementary school, I was the size of my teachers! I got ahead and in the end I had normal growth. There in two years, I must have taken a centimeter. Motor skills, so I didn't need to work on it.
Do you hope to obtain a waiver to present yourself to the Draft as early as 2022?
If a reform makes this possible, we will of course study this possibility with my entourage.
But we must not rush things.
I remain focused on the next two seasons with Asvel.
Do you have one or more models?
I like players but not one in particular.
I am inspired by the good of a lot of players but I cannot take a role model.
I think that would not be ambitious enough.
