Actress Cassandra Peterson claims that legendary former basketball player Wilt Chamberlain raped her at his home, during a party he hosted in the 1970s. About 70 weeks ago, Peterson published a book of memoirs in which she told about the trauma that has haunted her for decades, and which she only revealed to her ex-husband, Mark Pearson.
Peterson is best known for her lead role in the horror comedy Elvira: Mistress of the Dark (free translation: "Elvira, Lady of Darkness"), but has appeared in dozens of other roles in movies and TV series. In her September 21 book, Peterson claims that during that party, Chamberlain invited her to comment on his wardrobe, but he soon forced her to perform oral sex on him.
"Why did I not scream, fight or run away? When a person weighing 2.15 meters and weighing 135 kg grabs your neck with two handles, there is not much to do," Peterson wrote, "a police complaint?
I was an unemployed actress with a past as a dancer at Las Vegas shows.
That was my word in front of the word of a huge sports star, who would they believe? ".

Over the years, Chamberlain has developed a reputation as a dress chaser.
In 1991 he published a book of memoirs himself in which he claimed to have slept with 20,000 women.
Peterson mentioned this in her book and wrote: "I have to wonder with some of those women, sex was consensual."
Chamberlain, who died in 1999 at the age of 63, is still considered one of the greatest basketball players of all time.
He won two NBA championships with the Los Angeles Lakers, was selected three times as the regular season MVP and once again as the final series MVP.
To this day he holds quite a few NBA records, including scoring 100 points in a game in which the Philadelphia Warriors and he defeated the New York Knicks 147: 169 in March 1962.
