Tunisian Anas Jaber has been exempted from participating in the first round of the American Indian Wells Tennis Championships, which will start tomorrow and continue until the 17th of October.
According to Sky Sports, the draw for the tournament took place this evening, and Jaber was exempted from entering the first round because she is at the top of the 12th list for the tournament thanks to her current 14th world ranking.
In the second round, Jaber will face the qualifier of the Latvian match, Anastasia Sevastova, ranked 65th in the world, and Slovenian Polona Herkog, ranked 123rd in the world.
