Premier League club Newcastle is now owned by a Saudi Arabian Public Investment Fund (PIF).
The Magpies have confirmed the 100% takeover by a consortium led by the Saudi royal family against an amount of 350 million euros.
The Premier League, which could oppose this transaction, finally approved the operation on Thursday.
The leaders of football across the Channel said they had
"received legally binding guarantees that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will not control the club Newcastle United".
