Women's football often suffers from discrimination and prejudice, but it turns out that the stigmas accompany the players everywhere - even in simple everyday situations.
Alba Aragon, the goalkeeper of Spanish Murcia, this week unveiled a summary report of a visit to a gynecologist in which the following diagnosis appeared: "Too lesbian."
It happened after she shared with the doctor her sex life, including spicy stories from the locker room.
Eragon, a declared lesbian, may have been shocked by the abusive diagnosis, but decided to move the shame aside, and posted a picture of herself on social media with the unusual summary letter.

"I told the doctor I was a lesbian because I thought it was of medical importance to help him with the tests I had," said 19-year-old Eragon, who visited the doctor following an irregular period.
"I've loved women since I was 15, and I'm really not ashamed of it. But I did not expect these details to appear in the summary letter, and more would be mentioned in the case of the disease."
After Eragon's post hit waves in Spain and her group also expressed public support for it, further complaints came against the same doctor who had previously treated similarly with gays and lesbians being treated by him.
The storm reached as far as the Spanish health minister's envoy, who will investigate the incident.
It turns out that according to the doctor in question, this is a mistake that resulted from a technical malfunction.
He said he was supposed to keep the information about Eragon's sexual orientations "in another vital document, which was supposed to remain internal."
