A benefit duel between the traditional teams from Unterhaching and Cologne will take place in the sports park of TSV Neuried on Saturday.

Neuried - Both the first men’s team and the women of TSV Neuried have no games at the weekend, but high-class football can still be seen in the Neuried Sportpark.
Because on Saturday the traditional team "SpVgg Unterhaching & Friends" will meet the traditional team of the long-time second division and current regional division SC Fortuna Köln (2 pm).
The encounter is a benefit game in favor of “Kicken für Kinder”, an association that promotes youth welfare and sport, which is particularly committed to seriously ill and disabled children.
Entry to the sports park is free, but all visitors have the opportunity to donate an amount of their choice at the entrance.

Benefit games and tournaments were hardly possible in the past two years due to the corona.
So those responsible are all the happier that such an event can now take place again.
“It's nice that we can finally hold a benefit event again in this context.
Now we hope for good weather and a lot of spectators ”, says Jürgen Fritz, board member of“ Kicken für Kinder ”.
Some active fans of SpVgg Unterhaching have already announced that they will be there.
“It is important to us to give 'Kicken für Kinder' a platform again.
Together with this long-term social partner and the hosting association, TSV Neuried, we want to make our contribution to children and young people who are not on the sunny side of life, ”adds Florian Rensch from the“ Haching is watching ”initiative.

“We have had a partnership with TSV Neuried for years and know the local situation.

With Dieter Schönberger and Dennis Grassow, two former Haching professionals are also members of the Neurieder senior team.
Schönberger, who also played for the amateurs of FC Bayern Munich in the 1990s, also played for the guests from Cologne from 2000 to 2002.

While Schönberger will play on Saturday, Grassow had to cancel his active participation in the game at short notice due to back problems.
Nevertheless, many former first and second division professionals such as Alfonso Garcia, Orkan Balkan or Florian Hörnig, who also played for both clubs during his career, are expected.
The Hachinger Elf is complemented by former youth players, among others.
There will be barbecues around the game, and a bouncy castle for the younger crowd is also planned.
Quirin Friedel, the press and stadium spokesman for SpVgg Unterhaching, will moderate.
With a goal wall shooting there is also the chance to win two VIP tickets for a home game of the regional league team from Unterhaching.
In addition to Vice President Daniel Eymer, an active player from the Hachinger Regionalliga team is also expected to be there.
