The Slovenian Tadej Pogacar, reigning winner of the Tour de France, won the 115th edition of the Tour of Lombardy in Bergamo (north) on Saturday, the last great classic of the cycling season.
Winner of Liège-Bastogne-Liège in April, Pogacar won two “
monuments
” in the same season, in addition to the Tour de France which he won in July for the second time.
Julian Alaphilippe finished in 6th place after being trapped in the final.
